WHAT IS DIFFICULT DISCUSSIONS EASY SONGS (DDES)?

At DDES we're passionate about turning those hard-to-have conversations into musical, fun, engaging sessions with children aged 4-11.

​

So we've created three resource packs to support children, adults, schools, churches and other organisations in discussing and dealing with sensitive topics such as racism and unwanted touching. The uniqueness of these resources is that they deal with these difficult topics using music in a sensitive and gentle way and will serve to compliment your own discussions as fun, effective and affordable bolt ons.

WE ARE ONE deals with race relations from a biblical and faith based perspective.

WHAT IS IN THE RESOURCE PACK? 

​

The resource packs are child-friendly, fun and musical. 

​

 

Each resource contains:

• children's songs

• cartoon song videos

• karaoke videos

• karaoke song (audio) tracks

• instrumental (audio) tracks

• discussion and activity plans packed with physical activities and discussion points, animated videos, audio tracks and karaoke material as a way of very gently discussing issues

• lyrics

• guidance to support children to gain tools to try to protect their bodies from abuse and to prevent and, or deal with racism.

FOR SCHOOLS:

Lesson plans with school curriculum links are included in the packs.

FOR CHURCHES & SCHOOLS: 

Our specially commissioned We Are One resource pack deals with race relations from a faith-based perspective. This resource is built around two songs and 6 structured lesson plans with additional information for up to 10 lessons.
